We have a new entry in the Designers for Hire Directory today. Stacie Dale is an illustrator and surface pattern designer from Audubon, Pennsylvania, USA. Her niche is hand-drawn bird and botanical illustrations inspired by the nature reserves surrounding Audubon. Stacie also has a degree in fashion design and worked as a designer in the apparel industry for ten years and then at her own company 'Stacie Dale Designs Inc' for thirty years illustrating her own retail products. Stacie has licensed her work with home decor companies and worked with interior designers on custom fabric for the historic Millbrook Inn. Stacie is currently illustrating her own children's book and is also looking for freelance work, licensing or commissions of her bird and botannical art. Four experienced artists - Dominika Godette, Erica of Urban Daisies, Laura Bradford, and Chamisa of Zirkus Design - are excited to announce that they will be exhibiting together in Booth 604 at DesignBLOC at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC May 16-17, 2024. Between the four of them, they have hundreds of collections available for licensing and buyouts. Their work contains both trends and evergreen themes, ideal for gifts and stationery, fabric, home decor, housewares, and many other product categories. They are now taking appointments (book yours here), and they look forward to meeting both new and existing clients at the show!
Habitat are celebrating 60 years of design and one of the designers they are working with is Margo Selby. Margo has incorporated the number 60 into this beautiful cushion about. There is also some fabulous striped bedding and a stunning lampbase and shade. There are 70's and 80's references and prices are keen making great designs accessible for lots of shoppers. Talking of Habitat as we were in the last post I wanted to share these designs spotted in store. These stylish geometrics have been around a while but are well worth a look. Also seen in Habitat 'Block Floral' on kitchen textiles and tableware.
